After months of testing, iterating, brutal rejections, and navigating Apple’s T&Cs… we’re finally here.
🔥 Firepit is officially live on the App Store. (iOS only for now)
Zidan Hussain and I have been building Firepit for a while. What started as an insight → became an idea → evolved into a brand → and is now a fully-fledged app.
And it’s built on one simple but powerful belief:
Human connection is what we all need most in life.
And real connection starts with the right questions.
The kind that reveals your most honest, unfiltered, human self.
In a world that feels more connected yet lonelier than ever, especially for young people in big cities, we saw an opportunity.
Not to build another app to trap attention, but to help people rediscover conversations that actually matter.
We’re not doing this for the money. We’re building Firepit because it feels like the right thing to do and we’re learning a lot along the way.
When you look at the data, the story is stark:
There’s a loneliness epidemic among younger generations.
Social media isn’t social anymore.
Dating apps often feel shallow.
There’s a growing hunger for something deeper. Something real.
That’s why this space feels so fascinating and so important. There are endless paths of where we can take Firepit.
If anything this is an anti-app, success for us is less time spent on the app, and more time spent having conversations which matter. It’s about reclaiming our time and rediscovering what it means to be human.
We weren’t made to scroll. We were made to connect.
In the age of infinite feeds, we’re choosing finite moments.
If you’ve made it this far, I’d love your help. It would mean the absolute world to me if you could:
➡️ Download Firepit from the App Store.
⭐ Drop us a 5-star review.
📲 Share this with someone who could use a meaningful chat.
We’ve got some exciting stunts planned to drive momentum on the App Store.
Already, we’ve heard from early users who’ve had genuinely meaningful conversations.
And honestly, that’s the reason we’re doing this, that… and because it’s a lot of fun.
Excited to see where this goes.
