What if the best strategy isn’t more content, but less?
What if the best strategy isn't more content, but less?
Posted an episode on The Prompt & The Pitch this week where we showed how easy it's become to make highish quality of content.
If the barrier to entry to creating is now zero, if anyone can produce content that looks and sounds professional, what's actually scarce anymore?
Not quality. Quality just got commoditised.
Not volume. Volume is now infinite for everyone at once.
The instinct is to keep up. Post more, ship faster, match the noise.
But what if that's a trap?
When everyone zigs toward more, maybe, just maybe, the moat is in zagging toward less.
Fewer posts. Higher signal. A point of view nobody else is willing to say out loud.
Supply may be infinite, but attention is finite.
The brands and people who win this next stretch won't be the ones creating the most. They'll be the ones creating on purpose.
And maybe that means purpose becomes the new moat.
