Within 12 months we'll be able to do an entire day's work without touching our computer other than turning it on and off.
Saw this video on X - Andy Gao built voice-controlled computer use for his Mac. He starts saying "open the notes app and create..." and the app is open before he's finished the sentence.
It runs on Jev, a new model from Typesafe that launched a few days ago which is generatign all of the buzz in the AI community. It was built by Diogo Almeida, who helped create a small app called ChatGPT and has since spent the last couple of years in stealth building Jev.
Whats unique about Jev is that it doesn't write, it simply scores / judges. You give it something, it gives you back a decision. Scores, labels, yes or no. And it's absurdly fast and cheap.
A couple user cases I've already seen relevant to advertising & media: Someone broke down 724 live ads in 40 seconds for 9 cents. Another tool judges every headline of the day and tells brands which stories to jump on. Around 200 in 8 seconds, for about a cent.
When a judgement costs a fraction of a penny, you stop sampling and start checking everything.
Maybe this could be the silver bullet to end the billions of dollars in wasted digital advertising spend?
