What Would You Do If You Weren’t Afraid?
A couple of months ago, I found myself on the other side of the lens, answering some big, thought-provoking questions for Christopher Mitchell video series.
While interviewing strangers in the streets of London is something I’ve done a fair few times now, it still always feels daunting at first, especially when the role's flipped and the pressures on me to answer.
Lately, most of what I’ve been posting has been about AI and the ever-evolving digital world we find ourselves in. So this felt like a nice reminder of what really matters.
No – not myself (I promise the ego’s under control).
Human connection.
Being open, honest, and authentic.
Showing up as yourself and genuinely connecting with those around you.
That's all in this life that really matters.
And to make it a little nerdy again... as I always like to. I think even in advertising, we need to start seeing attention as table stakes.
The real value is in connection.
It was a lovely reminder last week just how great our industry is, catching up with so many friends & making new ones at the events across the week. It was lovely to see everyone & out of everything great about the industry we're in, for me, that'll always be the best part about what we do.
