AI beat humans at chess a long time ago.

So why are more people playing, watching, and falling in love with it than ever before?

Because people don't watch for perfection, they watch for the possibility.

The tension before a blunder. The emotion after a brilliant move. The narrative, the rivalry, the risk.

We already know how the perfect game ends, AI solved it.

But people don't always want solutions. They want stories.

It’s the same in everything else AI is starting to “win” at.

CGI is flawless. But we still crave real actors.

Auto-tune is precise. But we still buy tickets to hear flawed live performances.

FIFA looks like real football now. But we still wake up at 4 am to watch our favourite team play an unpredictable 90-minute match.

We already have perfection.

But what we need more than that is humanity, no algorithm can offer that.

We don’t want flawless. We want feeling.

We want the uncertainty of what happens next. The possibility of failure. The rare, magical moments that weren’t supposed to happen.

The finite moments that can only ever happen once.

That’s what keeps us coming back.

In a world where AI might be the best at everything…

It’s the imperfect, emotional, the human, that will always matter most.
