4 big updates for you today…

1. It’s coming home and Tommy Tuchel is magic.

2. Not so much an update but I thought the Hakwstone ad right before KO was a perfect example of advertising at its best - incredible creative and perfect ad spot to go with it. Credit to all of those involved.

3. We’ve been building something.

A couple months ago Sean Halpin and I had one of our standard catchups. We realised we'd both been circling the same idea from different angles.

But let's not forget, there's never been a worse time to build something that doesn’t matter.

The cost of building has collapsed. Anyone can ship a product this weekend which means the world is about to drown in things built because they could be, not because they should be.

The dotcom boom, the industrial revolution, the gold rush - we're living through all three at once. That's the part everyone's equally excited and scared about.

The part fewer people talk about: when the tools are free and infinite, the only thing that's scarce is a reason to exist.

And I truly think what we've been building has a strong reason behind it.
