What does happiness mean to you?

It's a big question. One we should all have an answer to, yet it’s one which will keep evolving.

For the last couple of months, momentum has fallen off with Firepit. New role at VCCP, building new things, life just coming up. The usual suspects that pull us away from passion projects.

But it's something I'll make sure to come back to.

The playing field isn't just level anymore – it's gone. AI builds apps. Algorithms create content. Everything that used to be hard is now a prompt away.

When everything can be automated, what's left that actually matters?

The currency shifts from creation to something far more scarce…

Genuine human connection. Authenticity. Realness.

Whether that's in the digital world (which is why podcasts are exploding) or in the real world (which is why we crave experiences more than ever).

In a world where everything can be automated, replicated, and scaled infinitely, the one thing that can't be manufactured is real connection.

The moments where someone sees you. Really sees you. Where conversation flows without agenda. Where vulnerability meets understanding.

That's what Firepit was always about. Not another app. Not another platform. Just humans, connecting.

Connection matters. Now and always.

And maybe that's what happiness means to me.
